After making his first short film in the summer of 2011 with no experience and no idea of what he was doing Chris decided that film making was the thing for him. Since then Chris finished his A-Level’s whilst freelancing as a film maker and honing his skills by making short internet videos.
In 2013 Chris was part of the Tyneside Cinemas ‘Northern Stars 2013’ where he was Director of Photography of a Short film which was premiered at the Tyneside cinema to a sold out cinema screen.
Chris has worked with various clients across a multitude of projects including filming bands at the O2 academy, creating internet adverts for a local vegan store, directing his own short film and even lending his acting talents to the Sainsburys Christmas advert parody by HotGulp (He’s the one in the white hat).
Mark became interested in Television and Video in the mid 80’s and took a college course in TV production and spent time with Tyne Tees TV working on local news programs as well as the very popular music program the ‘Tube’.
Mark also spent some time from college with the Northumbria Police Video Unit, working on some of the Force training productions, from sound recording to editiing.
The next 20+ years saw him persue a career in the print industry, but his interest in video still nagged away at him.
After leaving a 4 year stint in customer services/sales to broaden his skill base, Mark took the reigns of a Local Marketing Business providing digital media for Northern small businesses.
Mark and son Chris have now combined forces to help local companies, charities and individuals utilise the powerful medium of video to enhance their online presence.
